Angi was drawn to become a therapist by a desire to walk with people as they navigate life’s twists and turns. Her approach is authentic, dynamic, and uplifting. She never loses sight of the capacity of individuals to persevere, create and transform. Angi has 20 years of experience working with people of diverse and complex backgrounds in both non-profits and private practice. She has a warm and relational style and brings sprinkles of humor into her work. She specializes in working with adults facing life transitions, grief and loss, relationship problems, and symptoms related to anxiety and depression. Angi uses various therapeutic approaches in her work inclusive of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and CBT. She is passionate about the connection between nutrition and mood and earned a certificate in Nutrition and Integrative Medicine for Mental Health from Adelphi University. She embraces working with people from diverse backgrounds, religions, orientations, cultures, and ideologies. In her free time, she enjoys cooking savory meals, lazy beach time, reading, connecting with those she loves, while possessing a strong commitment to following a balanced self-care routine.
